Principal

Ted Lott founded Lott3 Architecture, LLC in 2001 with a focus on leading innovative design and architecture in downtown Grand Rapids, contributing to the city’s progressive urban emphasis.

His first foray into urban planning was serving on the Heartside Mainstreet Program of Directors where he volunteered for five years. Over the years, Ted’s working relationships with West Michigan’s leading organizations resulted in the firm’s steady growth and evolution to become Lott3Metz Architecture, LLC in 2004. Ted’s high volume of work includes Spectrum Health and Aquinas College.

He is an award-winning architect, urban designer and planner and an active stakeholder in the city neighborhoods, working to build strong relations with the City of Grand Rapids and neighborhood residents.

Ted earned his graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Michigan. Following college, he returned to his hometown of East Grand Rapids and currently resides in the East Hills Neighborhood.
